Aamor Inox was born in year 2015, out of a desire to challenge the status quo in the stainless steel industry.

What started as a modest operation has evolved into a benchmark of quality, consistency, and customer trust.

Along the way, we’ve weathered crises, navigated global disruptions, and made tough calls. But through it all, we chose to adapt, to evolve, and to come back stronger — staying true to our core values: quality, service, and trust.

We embraced technology, expanded into new markets, and earned the confidence of over 500 global customers who value not just what we deliver — but how consistently we deliver it.

From adopting cleaner, greener practices to becoming one of India’s Top-3 stainless steel bar exporters, our journey has been one of resilience, reinvention, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Our Founder’s Story – Passion, Purpose & Perseverance

Anand Gupta’s journey is one of resilience, vision, and an unwavering belief in the power of hard work.

In 2001, fresh out of university in the UK, Anand returned to India and began working on the shop floor of his family’s steel business. After two years of hands-on learning, he’d successfully established the export division of his family business from scratch.

But in 2015, after his father’s retirement and a business separation from his cousins, Anand made a bold move — he walked away from the flourishing family business to start from scratch. With no legacy to lean on and limited resources, he chose purpose over comfort.

He named his new company after his son, Aamor. Aamor Inox — meaning "Love for Stainless Steel” — was born from passion, purpose, and a desire to challenge the status quo in the stainless steel industry.

Soon after separation, Anand decided to acquire a company in order to strengthen its supply chain; which turned into his biggest mistake, leading to severe setbacks.

Murphy’s Law took full control — everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The damage was not confined to a few areas — it impacted every part of the company.

By early 2016, it wasn’t just a setback anymore, his company had nearly collapsed – he was an epic failure! Anand found himself deep in debt, with no source of income, and he was written off by everyone – business community & society.

But Anand wasn’t ready to give up.

Turning around the company became the mission of his life. He persevered. Day in and day out, he maintained unshakeable belief - in himself, in his team, and in his vision. He faced every challenge head-on, fueled by an unshakeable commitment to quality, purpose, and perseverance.

Looking back, Anand says “Those years have tested me to my deepest core – my resilience, my perseverance and every fiber of my being. But my purpose gave me enormous courage and persistence to turn things around.”

After 3 incredibly tough years, situation started to get better.

The journey from “sub-zero” to “zero” — as he puts it — was the most humbling, character-building phase of his life. Over the years, Anand turned that failure into his greatest teacher.

What began as a celebrated failure has today become one of India’s most respected stainless steel bar manufacturers — exporting to over 60 countries, setting global benchmarks, and redefining Indian manufacturing on the world stage.

His achievements have not gone unnoticed. Anand was honored as an “ET Global Indian Leader 2022” and received the “Inspiring Leaders Award 2024” from The Economic Times in Delhi. View Milestones

Fast forward today, Aamor Inox is India’s 3rd largest stainless steel longs products exporters, and it has grown at a CAGR of over 80% in the past four years.

But beyond the accolades lies something far more meaningful: for him, this wasn’t just about building a company. It was about building a culture — one rooted in integrity, empathy, and excellence.

He often says, “I’m not in the steel business. I’m in the people business.” And that belief echoes in every relationship the company builds — be it with customers, employees, or other partners.

Looking back, Anand says, “the most defining decision wasn’t just walking away from a successful family business. It was choosing to believe in himself when everything had fallen apart — and still showing up every day with faith and fire

Today, as he continues his entrepreneurial journey, Anand remains a lifelong learner. He’s equally passionate about sharing what he’s learned — so others can rise through the ranks, just as he has.

This is more than a founder’s journey. It’s a story of courage, character, and the belief that with heart and grit, anything is possible.
